What's a juggalo?
| The most ideal way of suicide for me is (apparently)... Train Decapation (Place neck on tracks, wait for train) You sure you can read this? Because according to your answers you are either: a).A Drunk b).A Pot head c).All of the above. The best way for you to end your loser life would be to simply get really wasted and pass out on some train tracks. I know its a little complicated for you to handle but I have faith in you! | Click Here to Take This Quiz Brought to you by YouThink.com quizzes and personality tests. |

It's that time of year again...
...yep, it's spring. And a busy one at that. March & April birthdays abound, as well as 3 Britpop concerts I am quite excited about! Stereophonics (Apr 24), Doves (May 6) and Keane (May 10). Also have the Sun Run in three weeks (it looks like I'm on pace to run at least half of it), and if I play my cards right, spahhhhhh.
Ooh, and Scampbe arrives in 31 days. Wheee!

Getting to know you...
Recently received two separate 'getting to know you' mass e-mails, and in an effort to consolidate, I ended up combining the two and sending them off. Not sure why, I like these questionnaire thingees, but the questions haven't really changed... for as long as e-mail has been around. "Ever been toilet-papering?" Who cares?? "Loved someone so much it made you cry?" Please. "What is your ICQ number?" Ha! Like anyone uses ICQ anymore.
I searched online for any original surveys, and aside from the ones where you get people to answer questions about yourself (e.g. see how well THEY know YOU), all of the surveys all ask the same thing. I doubt when filling them out if people care whether you like bacon bits or not, get to the good questions! Having filled out a few of these in the past I'm fairly certain all the people I've sent them to know that my middle name is Margaret and I'm allergic to cats.
This is a 'casting call' for new questions. Good ones. I know the three people who read my blog have very active imaginations, so I'm sure you guys will have a few suggestions.

More Gym Peeves:
- people that don't know how to use the equipment annoy me. Either get someone to show you how to use it, or don't use it at all, for God's sake! You're going to get hurt if you don't - by injury on the machine itself, or by me smacking you for wasting my friggin' time. I've only got two hours before my free parking runs out, damnit!
- heavy eye makeup is not conducive to "working out" so why bother putting it on? or conversely, why bother coming to the gym if you're going to be a prima donna?
- is it just me, or is the gym divided into two cliques - Lululemon, and non-Lulu? I want another pair of Groove pants, what's wrong with me?

I thought we were going scuba diving...
...and actually went through with it! Blondie and I took a "Discover Scuba" Class at BC Dive & Kayak this week... it was a lot of fun - we learned how to breathe underwater and learned about all the fancy pieces of equipment that are involved and (sort of) how to use them. There's quite a lot of detail to remember... BUT I think since we've "Discover'ed Scuba" we'll probably get ourselves certified... just a matter of when. When? It's friggin' expensive. >sigh<
Yay!

Whatever happened to Keith Petreman?
Oh Keith, the last time I saw you was at a bus stop in downtown Ottawa in 1999. Whatever happened to thee? Oh Keith, of the combat pants and black nail polish. Of the matching Reese's Pieces t-shirt and "Jesus is an alien" belief. How I wish it were July 1997 again...
So I was watching the tail end of Au Courant on CBC on CBC Newsworld last weekend, you know the one with Mitsou "Bye-bye Mon Cowboy" Gelinas, where she tells the rest of English Canada what's up with Quebec... this was the Sunday after Croat Night at the Caprice, I was recovering from my hangover... anyway, she was re-capping some viewer comments from the week previous' show - e.g. comments from viewers who watched the last episode of Au Courant... it was apparently about the student protest in Montreal, and some commentators came on the show calling the protestors babies and freeloaders for depending on the government to provide more funding for education, or something like that.
Anyway I'm not too sure of what exactly the issue was, but apparently some people took offence to it, this one guy wrote in, I couldn't remember his name but apparently got an MA in 2004; the next person also wrote in and congratulated Quebec on its egalitarian stance towards students or something like that, but it was signed "Keith Petreman, Ottawa" - spelling and everything! How about that. So Scampbe and I googled him and his lone footprint on the World Wide Web is a petition for the NDP - Jack Layton's "Stop Star Wars" petition
Well if that is your only footprint on the internet, at least it's not a link to porn...

drunk post, or, i wish i was croatian
daaaaamn! hey all, just got home from the bar and i had a pretty good time except that i *might* have inadvertently broke a couple up through no fault of my own, rather the fault of one of the party's unbending jealous ways. i did nothing except be pleasant and drink all the green apple martinis that were given to me. 1., those are expensive drinks; 2., they work FAST. anyway, my apologies to the girlfriend in question but you really need to work on your jealousy ISSUES because at no point have i ever, nor WILL EVER hit on your bf (no offence, boyfriend-in-question). hopefully by the end of the weekend this will all be resolved and to the rest of my non-croat friends... it is just too bad you weren't there. toodles!

Big White 2005
debauchery, I tell you. A weekend full of euro-techno, beer, wine, and hot-tubbing. Oh, and a bit of skiing and boarding thrown in. Next year we are doing a 4-day weekend, and everyone has to bring cowboy hats. Or sombreros. First one up gets to pick their beds!
See pics of Big White here. This is the best I could do on short notice.
Enjoy!
